These terms and conditions outline the policy of A30 Taxis, Door2Door Transfers (“the Company”) for the services provided by the Company. By booking our services, you (“the Customer”) agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions:
1. Service Provision:
a. The Company provides airport taxi transfer services for individuals and groups, facilitating transportation to and from airports.
b. The service includes the provision of a licensed and insured driver and a suitable vehicle for the transfer.
2. Booking and Confirmation:
a. All bookings must be made in advance, either online, via phone, or through the Company’s designated booking channels.
b. The booking is considered confirmed once the Customer receives a booking confirmation via email, SMS, or any other form of communication.
3. Cancellation and amendment policy:
a. All cancellation requests should be made in writing and sent to the Company’s email address. If if you don’t have access to email, then the cancellation must still be confirmed in writing, but we will accept such confirmation in the form of a text message sent from your mobile phone.
b. Cancellation requests made via telephone must be followed up with a written confirmation sent to the Company.
c. Cancellation charges may apply depending on the notice period provided by the Customer, as follows:
i. More than 61 days’ notice: No cancellation fee will be charged.
ii. 15 to 60 days’ notice: a £25 cancellation fee will be charged.
Iii. 2 to 14 days’ notice: 50% of the total booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
iv. Less than 2 days’ notice: 100% of the total booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
d. Changes to the booking, including the date, time, or pick-up/drop-off location, may be accommodated subject to availability and at the discretion of the Company. Additional charges may apply to any changes made.
4. No-Show Policy:
a. If the Customer fails to meet the driver at the designated pick-up location and time without prior notice, it will be considered a “no-show.”
b. In the event of a no-show, the Company reserves the right to charge the full fare as a cancellation fee.
5. Fares and Payment:
a. The fare for the airport taxi transfer service will be communicated to the Customer at the time of booking and confirmed in the booking confirmation.
b. The Customer agrees to pay the fare in the currency specified by the Company, either in cash or via the accepted payment methods outlined by the Company and must be paid for no later than the date of travel.
c. Additional charges may apply for tolls, parking fees, waiting time, or other services requested by the Customer or where deemed necessary during the journey. These additional costs will be charged at the actual cost rate with the exception of waiting time, which is charged at the standard rate of £30 per hour billed in 15 minute increments.
d. Where a booking is made for an Airport pick-up, you will not be charged for the first 1 hour from the scheduled arrival time, but any waiting time after the first hour may be (at the drivers / companies discretion) be charged at the standard waiting time rate.
e. Where the booking is for any other journey other than an Airport pick-up then the waiting time shall be charged after the first 10 minutes.
6. Responsibilities:
a. The Company will make every effort to ensure punctuality and provide a safe and comfortable journey.
b. The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including flight details, contact information, and any special requirements.
c. The Customer is responsible for their luggage, and any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the journey is not the Company’s liability.
7. Liability and Insurance:
a. The Company maintains appropriate insurance coverage as required by law.
b. The liability of the Company for any loss, damage, or injury during the taxi transfer service shall be limited to the amount paid for the service.
8. Force Majeure:
a. The Company shall not be held liable for any delays, cancellations, or other disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of nature, riots, strikes, accidents, or governmental regulations.
9. Complaints and Disputes:
a. Any complaints or disputes regarding the airport taxi transfer service must be communicated to the Company within a reasonable time frame, preferably within 24 hours of the completion of the journey.
10. Termination of Services:
a. The Company reserves the right to terminate its services to the Customer at any time due to non-compliance with these terms and conditions.
By booking our services, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. The Company reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the Customer’s responsibility to review the terms and conditions periodically for any changes or updates.
